Jewellery Storage Suggestion

Hello girly whirls :)

Just a quick post today for you guys, hope you find it helpful :)

I've been looking for a new storage solution for my jewellery for a while now as the tin I had my earrings had been outgrown. I happened to stumble across this:

This is a storage box from Hobby Craft, which is a hobby supply store in the UK. Fortunately for me there is a store right near where I work so I was able to grab a couple =D

The boxes have a secure locks on and the lid opens completely flat. It shuts super tight so it keeps the dust out off of your pretty jewels :)

The dividers also come out so you can customise the size of the six main compartments.

Here's all my junk neatly stashed away ;)

I've since popped my rings in the end compartments and used the other box I bought for my bracelets. Now all I need to do is figure out how to store my necklaces and I'll be one happy bunny :D

~xoxo~

  1. To store my necklaces, I use them stick on hanger things and i stuck them on the frame of my mirror and hang my necklaces off that :) but if you fancy something more creative i found this :)

  2. @Elli-Wilson: Hiya, thanks so much for the suggestion. That looks so cool and would look awesome on display on a dresser. My problem is I wanted something that I could seal shut, like the boxes I just got, just so it keeps the dust off of my nice shiny things plus they'll already by nicely packed up ready for when I move... Not that we've sold the flat yet!

  5. For big chunky necklaces or long beads/chains, I recommend cutlery trays. They keep them separated and long, so there's no tangles! It's also perfect for large bracelets and watches. I love your post and have used a bead box to store my little earrings for a while. :)

However, please don't just leave a one word comment that bears no relation to my post just so you can shill your blog/blog sale/giveaway. It's just not cool, ya dig?
